  • No matter where you go, always leave things better than you found them.

Carlton Human Capital

What's in a Name?

Our first dog, a golden retriever named Carlton, was as close to perfect as they come. Almost.

When we set clear boundaries, nurtured him, and rewarded him in ways that mattered to him, he thrived. But when we came home late, let stress take over, or spoke too harshly, his spirit dimmed.

People are no different. That lesson stayed with me, and when I started my firm, I chose to honor Carlton—along with all the joy, wisdom, and balance he brought to our lives—by naming the business after him.

Let's chat.
